Music culture is undergoing a major shift. As streaming replaces physical formats and digital platforms globalise underground scenes, the connection between listener, artist, and experience becomes more fragmented. This project responds to that shift by asking:

What if virtual spaces could reintroduce emotional, communal, and sensory elements to digital music engagement?

I explored how to bring emotion and atmosphere back into digital music consumption. I designed a modular, room-based experience where each virtual room represented a different layer of musical exploration—discovery, memory, community, and release.

Before developing the environment in Unreal Engine, I used Vizcom AI to create high-fidelity storyboard visuals that captured the intended mood, atmosphere, and spatial composition of the experience. This helped define the creative direction and align visual intentions before entering the 3D build phase.

The experience simulates the feeling of discovery, nostalgia, and connection found in underground music culture.
